Grammar Schools - Fund Raising
The Heads of the five King Edward VI Grammar Schools are constantly striving to ensure that they retain their position amongst the top schools in the country. A key element in achieving this is the provision of improved facilities for their pupils.
Day-to-day costs are met by the Government, however large scale capital maintenance and improvement projects are funded from a share of the income of the King Edward VI Foundation, which owns the Schools’ sites, and from voluntary contributions.
Individually each of the five Grammar Schools already has or is shortly due to embark upon a “Capital Fundraising Campaign”.
